Prof. Ryan Gowin

Ryan Gowin served in the Unites States Navy from 2001 – 2005 as a Sonar Technician. He completed his service to the country and moved on to obtain his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at ASU. He went on to hold several design engineering roles at different levels within the Semiconductor, Aerospace and Medical Device industries. Ryan completed an MBA through UCSD, Rady School of Management. He is currently serving as a lead for the men’s ministry at Cornerstone Church in Poway and has been asked to lead the Teens Youth Ministry. He is also leading a team of engineers and technicians at a diagnostics company in Carlsbad.

Ryan has been married to his wife Vanessa for 20 years and they have two awesome boys: Sean (10) and Noah (5). Ryan is also an assistant coach for Sean’s ice hockey team and enjoys teaching and supporting the kids on the team. In his spare time Ryan enjoys working in his wood shop, playing ice hockey, spending time with his family, and helping others be successful.
