Program Length and Cost

CVCU’s program length is equivalent to the national norm for undergraduate degree programs. Students must successfully complete 120 credits for their undergraduate degree, and if they stay on pace with the prescribed schedule, including summers, they will complete this course of study in three years. Students who wish to graduate or study at a slower pace have the freedom to do so. Though many schools charge more for part-time students, CVCU students who choose to attend part-time instead of full-time have the same cost per credit, $333. Work at your own pace and complete your course, certification, or degree when it fits your schedule.

Classes run on an 8-week session, meeting once a week in a live, synchronous classroom environment. Full time students take 6 classes per semester. Half-time students up to 3 classes per semester.

Like a growing number of academic institutions, CVCU holds a "test-optional" admissions format. This means that SAT/ACT scores may be submitted if desired, but these assessments are neither a required component of nor a determining factor in the application process. CVCU understands that a student is more than the sum of his or her test scores.
