Prof. Chelsea McCawley
Experimental Psychology
Chelsea McCawley has a Master's of Science in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of East London in the UK. She became a Board Certified Behavior Specialist (BCBA) in 2014. Chelsea has worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental and behavioral challenges since 2002 and has extensive experience with individual and group-based treatment, intensive parent training, direct intervention for high-risk children and families, classroom pivotal response training, development of systemic behavior support programs within organizations and trauma informed behavior therapy. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities but her passion is using data driven methodologies with a Christ centered health model approach to achieve lasting behavior change. Chelsea specializes in a strengths-based approach to behavior change and has worked in Ireland, London, and Australia using ABA.
