CVCU was modeled on a system that is designed to empower students to achieve their educational dreams without being encumbered by the burden of loan debt. Through its unique tutorial methodology, its mentor-driven modality, and its creative fiscal model, CVCU is able to offer tuition rates that parallel with the average California state college tuition rates (despite the fact that state colleges receive funding and private colleges do not). CVCU students pay monthly and graduate debt-free.

CVCU's online tuition rate includes not only tuition but also mentorships, internship placement assistance, and career placement support. Online students who stay on track with their schedule and commit to three summer classes per year will graduate in three years instead of four.

Online classes run on an 8-week session meeting once a week in a live, synchronous classroom environment. Full time students take 6 classes per semester. Half-time students take 3 classes per semester.
