​Bachelor of Arts Degree in Christian Leadership

​

  • A Bachelor's degree in Christian Leadership is designed to prepare students for leadership roles in ministry, non-profit organizations, and business, emphasizing a biblical worldview. The curriculum blends theological and biblical studies with practical leadership principles to develop servant leaders who lead with integrity and wisdom.

  • Course of study: In addition to meaningful and foundational general education classes, the courses for a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Leadership include:

     

  • Biblical studies and theology: Foundational courses cover the Old and New Testaments, biblical interpretation (hermeneutics), and core Christian doctrines to provide a strong theological basis for leadership.
     

  • Leadership theory: Students learn various models of leadership, with a significant emphasis on the concept of servant leadership modeled by Jesus. 
     

  • Organizational leadership and management, strategic planning, organizational development, management of people and resources, and financial management for non-profit organizations.
     

  • Ministry and discipleship: This may include practical applications such as evangelism, discipleship, mentoring, and pastoral care.
     

  • Communication and ethics: Students learn effective communication, conflict resolution, and ethical decision-making grounded in Christian values.
     

  • Cross-cultural studies: Some programs prepare students for global leadership by addressing the challenges of leadership in diverse cultural settings.
     

  • Spiritual formation: Emphasis is placed on the leader's personal spiritual growth, character development, and emotional intelligence. 


Course objectives: Graduates of the Christian Leadership program will be equipped to:

  • Communicate with clarity and purpose: Use effective communication skills to motivate, inspire, and foster positive interactions within a team or organization.
     

  • Navigate complex situations ethically: Make wise and ethical decisions based on a sound understanding of Christian ethics and values.
     

  • Foster spiritual growth: Develop a mature personal faith and practice discipleship to help others grow spiritually. 


Potential career paths: A Bachelor’s degree in Christian Leadership prepares students for a variety of roles, including the following:
