CVCU is pleased to announce the launch of its K to 12 homeschool sports program,

CVCU Youth Sports, an outreach of CVCU's Sports Institute.

Coming January 17!!  


Coach Chris Brown, head of CVCU's Athletic Department, will coordinate sports opportunities open to the Christian homeschooling community across San Diego County.  Coach Brown is an internationally recognized coach with a decade of experience in local and international sporting competitions and leadership training. He recently coached the Women's US Rugby Team all the way to the Olympics. Learn more about Coach Brown here

CVCU Youth Sports is dedicated to creating opportunities for participants of all ages and skill levels to experience and learn from the best attributes of sport, without being confined to a singular sport.

From soccer to touch rugby, flag football to ultimate frisbee, your child will engage in many fun drills, games, and sports through this ten-week program which is focused on developing coordination, fitness, game understanding, friendships, sportsmanship, and the importance of teamwork.

We are offering this 60-minute program once a week for 10 weeks on Mondays,Tuesdays, and Thursdays between 2:45pm and 4pm for ages 6 to 18 (times may vary depending on park location/availability).

There is a minimum requirement of 25 students for each regional location, so please help us ensure your little champions friends are signed up! If your desired location does not have the required numbers for the upcoming semester, we will discuss optional locations for your team. 

Example of Programming

Week 1-2: 

0-15 mins: Movement Preparation (activation, coordination, running technique and agility). 

15-35 mins: Ultimate Freebie - Hand eye coordination, spatial awareness and communication.

35-55 mins: 6 aside soccer 

55-60 mins: Session takeaways 

Week 3-4: 

0-15 mins: Movement Preparation (activation, coordination, running technique and agility).

15-35 mins: Multi-sport game focused on hand eye coordination, spatial awareness and problem solving. 

35-55 mins: 6 a side Flag Football. 

55-60 mins: Session takeaways.
